Benchdesking have partnered with ‘The Brain Tumour Charity’, donating £1,000 worth of desks to the Farnborough based organisation.
The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumour and their families. It funds pioneering research to increase survival, raises awareness of the symptoms and effects of brain tumours and provides support for everyone affected.
Nick Floyd, Managing Director at Farnborough based Benchdesking said: “We are thrilled to be supporting such a fantastic local charity. Brain tumours are such an underfunded cancer and we are pleased that our donation will help the charity to continue to improve the lives of those who have been affected by brain tumours.”
The Brain Tumour Charity’s CEO Sarah Lindsell, said: “We are immensely grateful for Benchdesking’s donation and proud to be supported by a local business.
“The timing has been critical as we continue to grow and expand our services, saving us money and ensuring we keep costs to a minimum.
“Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and people under 40 in the UK and survival rates have not improved significantly over the last 40 years.
“We are leading the way in changing this, fighting brain tumours on all fronts by funding world-class research as well as offering support and information.”
“We are immensely grateful for BenchDeskings donation and proud to be supported by a local business.”
